This is a coincidence, I am a student member of Lincoln's Inn. I am currently training to be a Barrister as well and have just completed Term 1 at CLS. Are you currently pursuing pupillage or are you already a tenant? Are you by chance employed by any of the chambers in the City? If so what set are they? As to wearing dark suits and black oxford's I understand all too well. A tradition I adhere too when the situation calls for it.
