Is the sale in store only or can orders be placed over the phone or through e-mail? Pricing info would be nice,I hope to find some of the pairs that I have on my list.

Pricing wasn't too good but according to a friend in the city, they still managed to sell out most of it in the summer. Doesn't bode well for better discounts in the upcoming sale.

For 1st time EG buyers: I'll save you some grief by repeating that an EG D width is a US D width. I had often read here that their E fitting is the US D. Not so. Don't say I didn't warn ya.

wow - this announcement used to genreate a 30+ pg the second the email arrived (and sometimes started earlier as folks wondered when the sale started). people would be calling the shop trying to see if they'd leak the list. seems very low key today - i got my postcard last week (i think), and this is the first i've seen it mentioned.....

the last few EG sales have kinda sucked. in general, I think the forvm is cooling to EG on the whole... stuff is just less cool in the face of Vass/G&G/Kiton, etc
