On a whim, I ordered a shirt from Taylor Stitch after reading a post on the Forum. It arrived today:

I like the pattern, by why double cuffs and that collar with gingham?

Not that I really care...but gingham seems very casual for double cuffs and I was wondering if you had a specific reason/preference for them. Apparently there is not one...it is a great looking gingham though.

I had a shirt MTM at Sid's with the same EOE fabric, but with French cuffs. Very nice fabric and workmanship.

I just ordered a white broadcloth variant yesterday. I was quite pleased with the sizing the first time and just made a minor tweak (1/8" shorter) to one sleeve. I think I'll have a couple OCBDs in a bengal stripe or gingham made when I come back after New Years.

Jason,
That suit, shirt, and tie combo is fantastic! One of the most original and creative that I've seen.
Details on the suit and its maker?

Certainly, I would not wear such a shirt to an event or occasion that is formal or serious. But, for a lighter occasion, it just seemed like a fun thing to do. Call it "whimsical".

I need to stop at the store and place some shirt orders as well. Do you know who makes their shirts? Are they made in the US? What is the price point?
