by rinse you mean like a soak right? roughly.. 20 minutes sound about right?

Yeah, throw them in the tub with no soap and fill it with cold water (assuming you will always wash them in cold water), get them saturated, let them sit a beer or so, then drain, and hang them to dry. If they were on/near the short side to begin with, you might want to stretch the length before drying. Personally I always stretch all my jeans before drying.

Based on my experience with Uniqlo, I wouldn't worry about them shrinking in the width if you don't wash them hot or put them through the dryer.

For what it's worth, I've been wearing a pair of UNIQLO Slim Japanese for about a month and they've stretched quite a bit –I'm a true 32 waist and wearing a size 30, and they're a little loose on me now. You might want to wear a belt.

thanks.

Really that much? I got the same pair in black and indigo and I too wear a 32 so I sized down to a 31 and after about 4 days of wear they stretched to a 32. hope they dont get... too loose

No, it just stretches where I put pressure on it (the waist and the seat).

So can anyone give me a run down on the different cuts of Uniqlo jeans? Like compare them to NS or Diors or something.

Also, how do you tell which is which when ordering through the phone? It seems that most of them have the same name and it seems like the sales person may get confused.

i can give you a japan denim comparison. skinny fit is like the ns's, reg fit like the rescues, with the one exception you dont really need to size down.

their phone ordering sucks, also email ordering is no longer supported (prob why you havent heard back
