For me Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef set the standard.

About 40 years ago I and some family members attended a Spaghetti
Western " Marathon" in New York: The Good the Bad and the Ugly, A Fist Full of
Dollars, and Hang 'Em High, all in succession. After which we went out for
Pasta in the Italian part of Greenwich Village and drove around in my
brother-in-law's Corvair Monza convertible. It was one of those beautiful
summer weekend days when Manhattan is relatively empty. Oh. the
Nostalgia!

Well, it was quite a week, wasn't it? Several of the looks made me want to jump for joy:

I was disappointed by the lack of bowlers and whangee-handled brollies, but at least Foxx gave us this, earning him umbrella of the week:

Sometimes it's not the clothes, but how they're worn:

The manbags are a bit sketchy, but it's the holidays and I'm feeling charitable. So we'll speak of them no more. And with that, I'll close. I've omitted quite a few lovely items, so a tip of the hat to you all:

The scarf in my pocket was to ensure that I would simultaneously notch my entry into vox's looks gone wrong digest.
