Is this new? As many catchy hits as the last one? I've been on a Boards of Canada kick lately.

I love Copland. Look for the Eiji Oue with Minnesota Appalachian Spring Suite, one of the best recordings. The Atlanta Symphony is also quite good on Copland.

Not terribly new, I think it's been out for a year now. It's a great album, I'd highly recommend it if you like the band..

Jalbert has become one of my favorite contemporary pianists.

Black Mass-Lucifer, which was done by Moog pioneer Mort Garson. This was one of his occult Moog albums. Not merely a cultural artifact, but quite a cohesive and elegantly disturbing album.

More badassedness from the wonder-walrus...seriously dig it, though I think 22 Dreams is close to the best thing he has ever done. And I still listen to Cost of Loving sometimes...so I might not exactly be impartial.

One thing for sure, it leaves me wanting to hear more in a good way. Did you read that Bruce Foxton is on the new album? I hear they do a freakish version of Turning Japanese (I made part of that sentence up)....

What'd you think of it?

Now that sounds interesting.. I don't have the new album. What's it called? Didn't know Foxton was on it. No Rick Buckler?

Its not out yet, called Wake Up The Nation....I don't believe Weller is too keen on Buckler...I would LOVE to hear Weller do a version of Turning Japanese...only if it has Mick on cheesy synth though.....
