When you're at a party, what do you notice the most? Where you almost want to tell the guy, "Look, Ive done the homework, this XYZ is wrong b/c ______" 1) Bad fit. Most common: Shirt that's too big. (Billows when tucked in. Cinches. etc.) 2) Untucked shirt that is too long. (I have finally moved away from this for good) And now to some more subtle/finer points? (you, the experts....) Poor color mix? Not enough contrast? Too much contrast? Outdated style? (gorge, pleat, style, buttons, etc) ___ PS: Sorry, I just realized this thread topic was done in 2007-2008, but don't know how to delete this) http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=39726

Office pants should get a pass, what if you work late and don't have time to change?

"Look kind Sir ive done my homework and i have become aware that your beautiful highly polished shoes are, in fact, Gemmed and at any moment may fall apart to your subsequent embarrasment. Will i hold your drink and canapes while you rush home to change into fully hand stitched goodyear welted?"
