You mean, like the mafia from the 1920s? Is there a problem with looking mafia like?

Maybe you would but is there any sound reason anyone else should?

I love it in brown, in theory anyways, but I've never tried it on myself. It's pretty bold, so I think its application range is limited. It really projects, IMO, a lot of flash and power, so you'd better be in the right environment to wear it.

Edit: I did not specify flannel, which I think it must be.

Grey flannel is classic, although A&S offers a lovely flannel that is light navy.

I recently sold a grey RL 3-piece with chalk stripes, due to fit issues.

I much prefer chalk to pin stripes.

I find this a strange view to have.

I've personally just designed a grey chalk stripe suit for rory bremner, which is a mid grey flannel. It looked fab and was a thinner stripe so stopped it looking too severe and barristerial... So a definite yes to the right pin... :)
