What do you think about chalk stripe suits? Do you think that one should at least own one? Which color combinations should be prefered?

It is always good to have at least one especially if you wear suit regularly. Navy and charcoal are the two most popular style but I have also seen then in black and other colors.

Chalk stripe looks best on grey flannel IMO.

My favorite suit is a navy flannel chalk stripe. Sadly since I live in Texas I do not get as much wear as I would like.

I had a DB, charcoal flannel, chalk stripe suit that I loved, but it no longer fit and I sold it on. I'd love to have another.

I have a gray-brown chalk stripe flannel from Kilgour which I love, despite the slightly overstated shoulders.

Pictures, by any chance? Sounds good. I like mid-grey.

Grey flannel. Blue is more difficult to pull off (might look mafia-like). Brown even more so, but can look gorgeous. I would stay away from other colours our materials.
