Those eton shirts are mostly sold out on the site - the 'ltd edition' ones - try to pop in the shop if I'm doing work around Holborn.

a casual shirt I picked up this past weekend at peek & cloppenburg:

Just picked up this Sid Mashburn MTM. Light blue end-on-end. Thinking of having it repeated in white and a lavender end-on-end if the sizing is nailed down after a couple of washes.

Great shirt -- love the collar choice and always like blue e-o-e. Who/where is Sid Mashburn? MTM or bespoke?

It's a men's store in Atlanta: http://www.sidmashburn.com/products.html

This is a thread whnay. posted over at AAAC about them: http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/F...ad.php?t=76186

The shirt itself is MTM. You get a choice of fabrics, collars, cuffs etc., but I don't think they would do odd linings or anything that would make it fully bespoke but I guess the line is even blurrier for shirts than it is suits.

I have a light rose/pink end-on-end (RLBL) so I decided to try it in blue here and like the result. I also don't see myself getting anything other than a modified spread collar until I have enough shirts to complete a basic set.

Great looking shirt. How does end-on-end compare to broadcloth?

AFAIK the weave is the same, it's just that end-on-end has two thread colors but is woven like a plain broadcloth (1x1). I like that it adds some character to the fabric color, but I'll let others weigh in on the technical differences.
