Oh ****, I forgot Lawrence of Arabia. I was too busy trying to offend Fuuma's sensibilities.

I would have gone with Charade. I'd also add Run Lola Run. Otherwise, solid list.

Charade is good too. I have most of Audrey's movies but she's absolutely enchanting in Roman Holiday.

Someone needs to list some good Fred Astaire movies.

^ Delightful. I've always had a soft spot for Blue Skies and Three Little Words.

Ok, fuuma PMed me and really wants to know what movies he should own, so this is my recommendation to him: The Terminator True Romance Blade Runner Casablanca Casino Royale Goodfellas Godfather1&2 The Matrix Predator Unforgiven Rambo The Professional The Princess Bride Roman Holiday Yes, I know that's more than 10 but i couldn't restrain myself.
I like most of these movies BTW. Here's mine, random titles that shouldn't be too hard to get: À bout de souffle/Breathless Seven Samourai Vertigo Blow-up Chinatown Annie Hall Le Samourai Persona Bande à part/Band of outsiders Lady from Shanghai, the I have no idea why I picked these, 10 movies is too short for anything. I assume these will be out fast on Blue-ray if they aren't already.

I shouldn't have limited myself to just 2 Schwarzenegger movies then.

I forgot Woody. You're right. 10 movies is way too short for anything.

Get some DePalma Hitchcock spoofs like Body double, they're awesome and eminently re watchable. DePalma is one of the greatest American filmmakers ever anyway and probably my fav working right now. The best governator movie is probably predator, it's the kind of scenario kids make with their GIJoes...

DH

Surely you mean "From Russia With Love"?

I would add:

Notorious (Hitchcock not B.I.G.)
Breaking the Waves
Repulsion
The Squid and the Whale
Casino
Belle de Jour
City Lights
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

But Vertigo and Annie Hall (or maybe Manhattan), already on Fuuma's list, probably top mine.
