Um, yeah, for years I never thought I'd ever wear a pink oxford. Love 'em now. Somehow with jeans and some sharp boots, it's on the money. Reminds me it's all about how you wear it...

cycling jerseys as streetwear.
Those dumb barracks-style drab caps all the emo db's are wearing.
Bangs.
A moustache.
Polarized sunglasses.
Real motorcycle gear without a bike.
Jodphurs.
Chaps.
A cowboy hat unless I'm in NM and the hat is straw.
A bolo dress tie.
A blue blazer with gold buttons
Seersucker
A derby or any straw hat (except NM - see above)
A cane
Platorm shoes or bell bottoms
Perforated or mesh anything

There are very few things mentioned in this thread that I'm sure I'd actually NEVER wear. The closest is probably drop crotch pants. I've yet to see a pair I thought looked good incorporated into a fit and even on the runway I've rarely liked them. I'm hesitant to say never though.

Most of the rest of the stuff I do/could imagine myself wearing someday. Or at least I wouldn't wager a lot against it. I'm not entirely sure what the situation would be where I'd be wearing denim shorts, but I have a long life ahead of me.

I guess "dumb" is a bit of an overstatement but I never understood the point of it.

It obviously has to be cold when you are wearing a down vest but doesn't that leave your arms cold?
