Watching that really makes me hope the new (old?) Shogun stays around and beats up the LHW division. I would love to see him KTFO Rampage...again.

Rogers looked great.

LOL. You're not biased or anything, are you? Rogers had a good jab and a couple of glancing punches from full guard. He's definitely good, but he never had Fedor in any real trouble.

Man I totally forgot that the entire Fedor vs. Rogers strikeforce card was being aired on a major network. I was too busy watching the UFC main events **** on spike and it slipped my mind entirely! Damn you Dana White and your crafty marketing strategies

!! Granted I just watched it later, was a pretty decent card really.

Yeah, I was doing exactly the same thing. I feel like a poop. Oh well, I'm looking forward to the Brown fight next week!

What fight were the judges watching last night? I had Wren taking the first round pretty easily, and arguably the second as well. The fight definitely should have gone an extra round.

Wren got ******* robbed. I agree with you 100 percent: if it had to stop there, it went to Wren, but it should have gone to three. I don't know where they get these clowns....

Interesting. I was surprised that other fighters and Evans were surprised the fight didn't go to the third.

Yes, wren was the more aggressive, but Wes (I can't remember his name) was calm, deliberate, kept his distance while engaging at the same time, did the damage to Wren's face, had more endurance where Wren was gassed, and stopped wren's one attempt at a take down. Wes was throwing more knees and leg kicks. I mean, come on, Wren was throwing punches that were hitting pure air 3 feet away from Wes' face, while Wes was measuring himself carefully. And the wrestler couldn't take him down once.

Dana White was right: wes is boring to watch. But I wonder whether it's just a matter of wes putting out just as much as he needs to get a victory and no more. Admittedly, that's not very entertaining, but, whatever, he wins (twice).

I'm pretty sure you mean Roy, not Wes.

Yes, the fight definitely should have went to a third round but the result would have been the same in the end. Wren was absolutely gassed and unable to keep his hands up while Big Country was still fresh.

What the **** is up with these Judges?

In the second round, yes, but not in the first. Wren dominated the first.

I don't see how Vera could have won. He may have had a few more damaging shots, but Couture had overall more dominant positioning throughout the fight. In general the UFC judges put a lot of emphasis on positioning and control, this is similar to how fighters who stay on their back almost always lose that round. Couture had Vera pushed up on that fence a lot, he had the overall more dominant position. Fight was so boring though, that was one of the weakest main events I have ever seen on a UFC card. Also I am still disappointed that Mike Swick won, was really hoping to see him take out Dan Hardy. Pretty confident that GSP will still man handle Hardy though. -GSP really seems like the classiest dude in the entire UFC Also, Nog has staph and his fight against Cain Velasquez at UFC 108 has been canceled, and apparently Brock Lesnar will not be returning to the octagon any time soon...will be interesting to see how this impacts the heavyweight division, could end up with Velasquez vs Carwin for the interim title or some ****.
