Great blog. Thanks for that.

I've always thought that Jane Birkin was an incredibly beautiful woman. She still is actually, today.

Bump for a great find.

I've been following this for a while now, both for the clothes and the refreshing silence about the clothes.

Been following that blog for a while. It's full of those that you would expect and some that are not so obvious and require a little research. Good source of inspiration.

Yes, also, being impossibly good-looking and only seen in professionally-taken black and white photographs wouldn't be bad advice to glean from this blog either.

One of the things I like about his pics is that they seem to be casual off-the-cuff shots. Do you think that Springsteen shot had a team of stylists, make-up artists and hair people behind the camera?

But you're right, everyone looks better in B&W. Which is why I hand out special filters to those I come in contact with.

Not necessarily (though it may have been for an actual shoot, in which case some of that were true), but logically speaking this is but one shot from many taken during his life, and it was selected in general because of its quality, and specifically in this case because of it's ability to make him look cool. So there was weeding out of the less flattering images involved, it wasn't just a randomly chosen moment in the life of Springsteen without consideration for wardrobe, pose, lighting, etc.

I just limit my social circle to those with full color-blindness, but I suppose your method works as well.

Good question. I think the blog is well done, it's fun to look at great looking people in artistic photos. Inspires my own creativity.
