Cotto vs Pac

This is turning into a joke. Everything is already set pac's way - the catch weight of 145, the size of the gloves, how the money will be split, and even the size of the ring. It was already ridiculous when he demanded the fight be for the belt even though the champ, Cotto, can't come in at the welterweight limit of 147. Now he's demanding that Cotto gets fined $1 million for each pound he comes in overweight. Let's not forget that Cotto is still the champ here.

May Cotto beat his ass well on Nov 14th.

He's jsut trying to make sure there will be a Mayweather vs. Pacman fight because that will be a huge payday and he will probably retire after that and run for office in the Philippines. Actually, I think he is running for mayor or congressman already, not sure which.

On a side not, I'm trying to get tickets for this fight.
Anybody have a solid info when the tickets will go on sale?

It will be a great match but I don't think it'll be as one-sided as you think.
I'm still not convinced Mayweather could beat Marquez really. I think at this point, Mayweather has a tougher opponent in Marquez than Pacman with Cotto.
Cotto just didn't seem like himself in his last match. I guess we'd have to wait and see.

No doubt. My respect for Cotto keeps growing. He's been taking all these tough fights lately.

Fight is on its way within a week. It's going to be a lot closer than people want to believe. My love for the sport makes me want to see Cotto being the winner, but my malice rather fanny pac wins. I much rather see Floyd "Money" Mayweather beat fanny pac's AZZ than Cotto.

I prefer to see Money vs. Pacman over Cotto.
I can't wait til next saturday, I just hope Pacman isn't too distracted with politics, this might be his most difficult fight yet. Although I believed the same against DLH and Hatton and he obliterated both of them while moving up in weight class. It'll be an interesting fight.

DLH chose to weight drain himself.

Hatton wasn't that great, even Roach admits it.

I agree with Money vs fanny pac > Money vs cotto. If fanny pack wins this one fanny pac's circle fingering orgy will be big enough that when Money beats his AZZ it'll cement Money's legacy.

+1, if he can convincingly beat a guy in his prime whose been fighting all the hardcore welterweights then I won't doubt that he can bang with the big boys.
