I've got the Yorks but if I was buying today, I'd get the Timurs just because they don't have the horrible Red Ear logo embossed on the heel like they do on the Yorks now.

I'm getting my first pair of high end boots this week (the bihars thanks in part to pics by rfx), what treatment do you guys use on your PS boots?

^^^ For the dip dye finish I just use neutral polish as needed.
Sometimes if I'm feeling ambitious I'll use some conditioner like Lexol.
I don't think they really need any special treatment.

Finally received the brown Bihars I ordered on Oct 10 from Milan Clothing.
Sure it took over 3 weeks to get here and the box was demolished but the boots are fine and they only worked out to be $342 and no additional customs.

Good to hear you finally got your Zippy, my box was obliterated too since it was packaged with a plastic bag and the PS box is already frail enough as it is. You can't beat MilanClothings price though and no customs fee though.

Not really, the Bihars has rubber soles, different lasts, different stitching, different design and has a pull tab in the back.

It's a similar look but they're different in a lot of ways as RFX points out.

that was quick, the Bihars I ordered last thursday came today, but UPS didn't knock loud enough so I missed them. The sheet they left said there is a $40.60 COD, so I assume this is the customs fees?

picked up my brown bihards from ups, man they are nice. My first pair of $400 shoes and they are definately worth it, I can see why RFX has so many PS shoes.
I went with 8UK, wear 10 in chucks/clarks. Pulled them out of the bag and was worried they'd be too small as they look narrow. I could of went 1/2 size up to be able to wear thicker socks, but they fit perfectly with thin socks.
