In terms of ridiculous - inappropriate clothes worn, what have so far
been the worst fashion crimes (whatever your humorous or serious
definition of that is) you've committed and/or that you've also seen any
straight and/or gay men commit (be they former or current friends,
work colleagues, relatives) and please describe what was worn and
why it was such a disaster.

A lot of young Indians here in Sydney likes to wear thongs with jeans

That's one thing I would NEVER do.

Don't feel too bad, I own a pair of Kenneth Coles from my pre-forum days. Damn those are some ugly shoes...

I had a Member's Only jacket in the 80's.

Those hideous things will never come back in style.

Never say never! They could come back in a different form...

I was joking about them never coming back. I have seen them recently...

Not about owning the jacket, mind you. It was baby blue. The horror...

I used to dress in only 99.999% Bijan. I'm sure you can imagine how embarrassed I was at the big timers' conventions. Luckily I've stepped it up to the full 100% these days.

In the late 80's I would often wear cordavan colored pinch-penny kiltie tassle loafers paired with a suit.

Last week I wore a pair of Bill's Model I commemorative khaki's, saw myself in a mirror and those trousers have now been relegated to yard work.

-Buttoning all buttons in jacket
-Showing too much/too little cuff
-Kenneth Cole shoes (though slightly rounded square toes, not duck bill monstrosities)
-Black (and I suspect poly blend) suit
-Unbuttoned DB suit
-Mismatched suit separates
-Un-tucked shirt look
-Unbuttoned shirt over t-shirt look
-Man-jewelry

Probably more too.
