Might seem like a stupid question. But is there any way this can be done to completely eliminate any trace of the pocket being there?

Ticket pockets are classy; maybe you're the one who should be removed if you can't appreciate them.

There is a big cut in the fabric right there where the pocket lives inside the suit. even if you take the flap off, the hole will be there. You can pay a reweaver to take the material from the ticket pocket flap and weave it into the scar in an attempt to hide it, but that is a HELLUVA big scar to hide in that fashion. It will cost a ton to have done and I'd bet it will still be visible.

Please post pics after you've had this done.

Actually there are several ways.

Submerge in acid (the whole coat - this is key) or put on bonfire. Either method will remove the ticket pocket, leaving no trace of it being there.

You're welcome.

Ticket pockets are very elegant. Leave it and do not try anything stupid.

It is a very silly question and from a new member. How on earth do you expect to 'heal' the slash made for the pocket? It simply cannot be done.
