I've been absent for the better part of a week due to work restrictions and a short holiday, miss me?

Anyway, I got my SS cardi the other day, man is it thick and warm! A slight gradient in colour from dark navy to grey. It's quite soft, a little scratchy. I was surprised that the acrylic content is 50%! I like it alot, but unfortunately the size 6 is massive, even considering it's meant to be oversized, and I'm returning to exchange for a 5.

I also got the knit hat, made from the same weave. I was a little afraid it'd be too smal, but it's awesome.

Unfortunately, I dropped it at the post office already. I'll be happy to do some deets once I get the size down, but that'll be 2 weeks away at least. If you like I can take some shots of the beanie, slight colour difference, but same blend and knit pattern.

Has almost everything I'm looking for in a cardi: heavy (not chunky), speckled wool...

Wool/polyamide blend though...good or bad?

^^ Looks a bit too slim/shrunken IMO but kinda hard to tell with Oak's photography (which ***** me to tears).

^ been wanting that one baaad. Did you get it??

A staple of my wardrobe. Simple, inexpensive, good heavier wool. V-necks are great too. Wish the color selection was better this year. The brown this year is a bit too washed-out and 'meh'...

Penguin has to step it up soon....
