I like my NS but I think the are a little bit wide in the thighs and below the knees, what do you recommend? PS or Cure?
NC is way to skinny.

Where would you get the Cure? They stopped production years ago.

Hmm, I guess I'm getting the US site. In any case, if you can actually get it, either Cure or PS would probably work. I think they're pretty close in fit, but Cures are so few and far between these days, you'd be hard-pressed to find a direct comparison.

Should I expect the black NS to stretch to the same degree as the NS indigo of the same size, after repeated wears?

i have a 28 in new standards that are slightly loose now. i should have gotten a 27 instead.

i'm looking for a slimmer fit, and 27s in new cures are too tight, i'd like something looser.

does anyone know how the petites fit? i'm debating whether i should get the petites in 28 or 27 since they're slimmer than the NS but looser than the NC.

anyone with PS experience?

my black ns stretched nowhere near as much as my indigo ones, both the same size.

I have a pair of NS with 8 months of wear and lots of good fading. I was thinking of soaking them to shrink them down a bit. Will this affect the contrast at all when it comes time to do a proper wash? What can I expect from a first soak at 8 months?

Well I couldn't wait for a response. I had to soak them and I did. I soaked them in crystal clear cold water for 30 minutes. I removed them promptly and found this:

I am not quite sure what is in there but I am pretty sure it isn't indigo

The funny thing is they really didn't smell that bad.

^^ Your profile says you have a 32" waist. Do you really want to size down five? Think about this.

so wtf did I do wrong in soaking my NS's??? I wore them for about 6 months with no soak or wash and they began to get some nice webbing and creases... soaked them in mildly cold water last night for about 2 hours, let them air dry, check em out this a.m. and NOTHING!

any and all creases, where I could start to see denim fading, are all gone... the denim looks like it is new, its like leaving them in the water belnding the denim to fill in where they had started to fade?? is this pssoible? I am pretty pissed off from all the time I put in to have em come out like this.

On a good note they def. shrunk back to their original tightness
