I wish they had a bottle at my favorite pizza joint....goes so well with lasagna. They should package Sriracha like ketchup too.

We made Robuchon's recipe for roasted perch with creamed celery root last night. Very rich but unbelievably tasty.

Why don't I eat perch more often? I loved this fish

I took my wife for vietnamese a week ago, she has always resisted since I took her once to one in abad nieghborhood and one that wasn't great. she finally agreed to try again and really like it.

That recipe looks really good. Have to try that some day. What did you use for the bowl/pot cooking? Large sauce pan or dutch oven?

We didn't do that part - figured it was just to keep the beurre blanc sauce warm without reducing it or burning it.

Seemed a bit superfluous but its Robuchon so I started from the premise that everything was in excess and went from there.

Wedding over the weekend had some great shortrib and an open bar, but by 1am, I needed a booze relieving snack, so I walked over to the just opened Burger Bar outpost in SF since it was only a few blocks away and still open. Decided to have one of the boozey milkshakes which was reallllllly sweet with a ton of chocolate syrup. And I also decided to get the Rossini burger since I had one in Vegas and because of SF's stupid upcoming foie gras ban. Hubert was walking around though, making sure everything was okay.

Haha, it was great. Grilled the steak in a cast iron skillet so it was nice and juicy. Good stuff.
