I want to get my friend a nice gift but don't wanna spend my money I do have an unopened pair of Oakley sunglasses but I'm not sure if it is proper to give it when the summer just passedOriginally Posted by lefko

I am pretty sure the sun shines all year round and not just in the summer.
They arent SUMMERGlasses they are sun glasses.
Of course your friend might just ask the same question you just did even though they are useful all year round.

sunglass is very need for driwing round year. And for protect from UV.

Actually, when the sun isnt hidden for large periods of time, sunglasses or tinted goggles are required. The sun is much more dangerous for the eyes there then anywhere else. The Inuit even invented snow goggles just because the sun could be so damaging. (snow blindness)
And back on topic....
I think sunglasses are great for winter. I've actually got to get a new pair soon as well. My tortoise shell ones look pretty ****** with my black coats.
