Land's End. Definitely much better quality than Lacoste. My Lacoste's side seams are all twisted and messed up but not on my Land's End polos.

Just ordered from Tailor Store. Have to see what that's like.

Please give a review when you receive your shirt. I am interested in them as well.

There were some bells and whistles, different colours of placket and collar and cuff available, but I just went for the basic white shirt, though I did have mother-of-pearl buttons so I'll be comparing those with the usual plastics.

Don't expect much form their MOP buttons - they're very thin. Also, they put a pretty big label on the yoke so the stiching that you can see on the outside is kind of annoying.

The more expensive Ralph Laurens have no logos and are quite good. Otherwise there's that English brand that outfitted the latest Bond, can't remember the name.

Ah, well if these are no good I might go for the Landsends.

You'll love your Tailor Store shirt, I'm sure. Mine from them is the best polo I own. The pique fabric is very soft, very comfy. The MOP buttons are excellent quality. Yes they're thin, but do you want thick buttons on a polo? I've just ordered two more from them a couple weeks ago. Highly recommended.

I was about to get one, but 275 GBP is a lot for a plain polo with no design features. How much did you pay for it on sale? It rarely goes on sale in Manchester.

Two hundred and seventy five quid? Come now, I can understand paying for quality but that's plainly ridiculous.

Sunspel.

Expensive, and their cotton isn't that thick, but the fit and material is perfect for summer.

I know, right - unless its woven from Keira Knightleys pubic hair I can't seem to justify that for a simple polo. But I suppose when James Bond (who is an ideal customer according to Ford) walks in to the store to pick up all his seasons wear (which is the ideal way to shop at his store, sais Ford) hes probably not going to mind the 275 extra added to his 5-figure bill now is he.

Let us know how it turns out. Thinking about doing a trial run with a simple black pique polo. Would also be interested in delivery times as I'm in uk to...

I'm looking for good fitting polo tops, don't really care about the brand, just needs to fit well and be of decent quality.
