Do you like store labels on your clothes

Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on >>store labels.<<
Manufacturer labels are one thing, but many stores (in my opinion) are getting a free ride on us by putting their store labels on the clothes. Did they pay us for this service? No. Discount? No.
I am considering a new policy on my clothes. That being no more store labels, or demanding a discount for placing a store label on my suit/jacket, etc.
I may even remove all the store labels from the clothes I already have.
Money is money. My standpoint is that stores should pay us to advertise for them.
This also goes for cars with the damned dealer plate/stickers, and plastic bags from any other store for that matter. I'm tired of being a walking billboard. What are your thoughts?

Who else but you sees the label? How does this make you a walking billboard? I think you're getting worked up over nothing.

I am not 'worked up' at all. Just finished dinner & enjoying a nice brandy. How are you over there?

Oddly this only bothers me on bespoke items. I don't like anyone's label on those items.

With respect, you really don't know what you are talking about.

On my last 2 cars I told the dealership I wouldn't buy the car if their logo was on it.

Logo does not equal label and you're perfectly within your rights to ask as you did.

I've seen cars here with metal dealership badges screwed/glued on the boot. It was actually more prominent that the maker's badges.

If anything, I think the store label makes the prices cheaper. You'll find more quality brand name suits being discounted with a "Saks Fifth Avenue" label than if you got them at the boutique.

I usually dont wear my jackets inside out, so it doesn't really matter to me.
