Considering these are essentially the same as the backzip engineer versions I had from an old season and of the same silhouette, probably the same last, I want to point out that this style of boot is incredibly hard to wear steezily unless you're a really gaunt male model (think Rick Oens freak) and you're used to looking like an anime military leader from the future. They have no bulk whatsoever and the shafts are really too high to wear, they're like really tough leather knee socks. Cute for girls as riding boots, but for men, a bit of sole and some toebox work far better. real Red Wing engineers for engineer bots, or Wings and Horns black service boots for the distressed black boot, over these.
