The Bihars actually retails for $575 based on what Barneys are selling them for, it would have been $630 with Cali Tax + $61 custom = $691. So you actually saved close to $230.

Zippy, since your didn't get held at customs, do you think you'll get hit with the customs charge? Mine was held but only for a day because I called right away and didn't need any paperworks signed to get cleared.

I've gotten customs bills on items not held at customs, but it does seem like if it's held that's a sure sign you'll get a bill even if it's only for a day or less

Yeah, like Get Smart said, I've been charged for stuff that wasn't held at customs.
No love letter from fedex yet though.

Nice they both look good... Which color do you like better? I'm thinking about getting the brown ones also.

Nice Corso's, I wish the stores in my area stock up on the grey ones already.

I really like both a lot but if I had to pick, I'd probably pick the oxblood just because it is more out of the ordinary but it still looks good and not out of place.

I'm interested in PS's grey boots/shoes, but yet to see a colour representation that I trust.

Zippy recently got the Assams and they are grey dipdye. He was also kind enough to shoot comparison pics so you can see the difference between the grey and brown dipdyes. It's a few pages back if you wnat to check it out. The Barneys.com photos of the grey Ricards is pretty good too, it actually looks grey.

Oh, for those who care about such things, Bihars and Assams came with the single holstein style shoe bag. No red/black shoe bags. Also came in the current clamshell box with spare laces.

Hmmm I remember this now, but I guess I didn't pay attention. Earlier. Thanks for the tip RFX!
