It's a pretty good read. I'm just slightly annoyed that subscribers (ie me) get it a week or so after it hits the shelves

I saw Issue 5 at a private club before it hits the shelves almost a week later and the website is not updated yet. Anyway, I already look forward to the next issue. It's a shame that LAST has gone down following the footsteps of Gentry which was another great Japanese magazine.

It's not really about the country, it's about the personality. Founder of the magazine, Wei Koh, just happens to be the son of Professor Tommy Koh, one of Singapore's most well-known diplomats, former Singapore representative to the UN, and an icon of personal branding (for Singapore people anyway) since the 60s. It seems that Wei Koh and his brother Aun Koh have gone into the world of luxe publishing, as Aun Koh has just put out "The Miele Guide" to Asia's best restaurants, sort of like an Asian Michelin.

Ya, what's wrong with that? Try to live in this humid and tropical country with your tweed Jacket or 3 piece suit?
And at least there are a lot of people in Singapore can afford AP. Don't be jealous..

I tried to subscribe online but the country list jumps from Cameroon to Cape Verde with nary an entry for my beloved Canadialand. If this is our punishment, then I suppose it is just...

I am a new subscriber and just got my issue today, so there is quite a lag depending upon where you are in the country.

But, I can't wait to dig into it.

I would likely be wearing a cotton three-piece and a straw Stetson with the air-conditioning on full-blast

I ordered a issue from the website at the end of August. It's October and I still don't have it. How long does it usually take?

Hopefully the air condition is potable that you can bring along to anywhere.
