Too bad Foo did not win

That was amusing as it was. If Foof had won, it would have been . . . there are insufficient words in the English language.

First, they probably would have been unable to find anything to fit him. Esquire would have suddenly decided that rolled pants legs were "in" this year.

Second, picture Foof robo-posing through this exercise.

And the shoes -- "Congratulations, Foof! Here are your new KC shoes to complete your look!"

But the coup de grace would be listening to Foof explain how it was important to be able to get a lot of looks out of your pieces.

foof knows how to get alot of looks out of a few pieces, thats what he's good at. I think it would have been insulting to him, as it was Dan T to parade him through the store trying on clothing while he holds back dry heaves.

I think I see why Dan T won though.

His facial expressions are priceless. Poor guy, my favorite is the army vest over tie look.

Good sport -I would have been laughing with some of this stuff ....
It does seem odd to award a guy as being best dressed and then promptly go dress him -and if he wasn't wearing KC when he won the contest - they shouldn't endorse it on him.

I see this as a close miss by the Foo. It would have been complete torture for him! Can you imagine being filmed as you are being dressed in the kids section?

..(which, won't even fetch half that much on ebay at bnwt even)

anyways, now i see the bigger picture of this esquire contest.

i think what they had in mind was to eventually have a person who best has that look to market Kenneth cole at the end. be a spokesmodel for it. they probably had in mind that mafoo was the 'best dressed' in general. but just look at Dan. you got to admit, he is a good looking model-like guy and is what KC perhaps inclined for Esquire to choose for them.

i congratulate both mafoo and Dan for being good sports in their respective situations.

my Korean brother's right... they were looking for someone Kenneth Colesque or someone that they might use for their ads- "sadly" Mafoo doesn't fit that profile.

I would pay real money to see Foof parade around in KC, maybe even start his own KC line with Longwings in burgundy corrected grain leather.
