Wow, Gokey's are awesome! Orvis is a great gig, I absolutely love that store. My father is an avid fly fisherman, so I've been going there for years. It's got a great aesthetic, and the SA's are always really knowledgeable. I buy his gifts there and I wouldn't know ****** from my elbow about fly reels. Also, the "Aviator" boots that they make with Alden are fantastic.

I never paid attention to your woman's line, but I love your men's shirting to date obviously so I will be sending her your way. She may even try calling the shop for some general advice, who should I have her speak with to get her on track do you think? Ask for you or the fiance?

Thanks Tonio! She can contact Adele anytime - we both share the same e-mail and phone number. We make a small dress collection in NYC of really vibrant silk charmeuse and jersey. Classic shapes with really vibrant colors. We have a new wrap dress that I'll post up once we finish the images. We have a ton of womens shoes too.

Hah! Sadly, I'm so inflexible that I couldn't roundhouse kick something 1 foot off the ground. But it's true - getting well fitting jeans is a total pain **********.

I was thinking about this. Actually the ties work really well with the opposite collab shirts. This new flannel tie probably looks great on the grey chambray shirt, and vice-versa. The flannel's got a really bold pattern, so we'll be doling out props to anyone who hooks up a tie nicely with it!

Despite appearances, not all that much. Everytime I think that I'm getting good at it, I see some photo of a petite crossfit girl who does 100lb more than me. I can ride a bicycle up inclines like nobody's business though.

Is there a new ETA for the Thorogood boots? I see it is still up for pre-order but the shippind date still says 09/15. Just curious....they are quite tempting.

YES! Our first batch sold through and we just received a re-stock the end of last week. I've got to update the website, but we've got full stock in all sizes. I also owe you guys a round of photos of the actual boots. I've been wearing mine for a few weeks, so you can see how well they're aging.

That would be awesome. The one thing that has been keeping me from ordering them is that I wanted to see some "real world" and somewhat broken in pics. Please post when you get a chance....that might push me over the edge.

So, my time has been monopolized lately by our latest project - Epaulet suit separates. Made completely in NYC, we'll produce a slim-lapel blazer and matching trousers. The suiting will come in navy and black. I'll show you guys more details as we get closer to the release. It should be around early to mid-November.

The blazer is in its third (and hopefully final) fit sample. Here's some shots of it.

I think you should offer it in the color of the sample, as well.

I know, that streaky grey is a little nutzo. I thought that it might work, but it ended up more John Gotti than Rat Pack. It might work for a dress trouser though.

Sizes will definitely run 36R-42R, and I might add a 34R and 44R if there's interest. I'm working like hell to match the overall sizing one-to-one with our shirts. So if an Epaulet Medium fits you well, then you can expect that the 38 blazer will too. Hopefully, this can be a program that we can continually run and expand upon.

When this week do you think you'll have the swatches for the new shirts?

+1 Not that you're having any trouble selling them, but I'd love to see a fit before I purchase.

Also, are these blazers going to go with denim or are they more geared towards suiting?

I should have a full round-up of them on Wednesday. We've got a new flannel pattern too.

Absolutely. This horsehide has an irregular finish, so a huge part of its appeal is the way that it breaks in. I wanted to have a well-worn pair for our initial launch, but my size sample came too late. I've got some photos that I can throw up tomorrow.

The suit blazers will be done in a really great wool gabardine, so it's going to have a soft hand and a nice drape. It's definitely a proper suiting fabric. I can see it working well with slim dark denim - like the KMW rocker.

I plan to do at least one tweed variant of the blazer at the same time which will be more of a sportcoat - and will work really great with denim and chinos.

All this sounds vey promising, especially the tweed sportcoat. Any updates as to when the Burgundy and Salt and Pepper Oxford will be coming in? Hoping that the Alden's come in sometime in October

Much obliged
