In my never ending quest to find the perfect white T, I've decided to try J. Crew. Does anyone know what the difference in fit is like between the slim T (catalog/online only) and the regular one?

flannel lined relaxed-fit chinos from last year. It will be offered in
November in two colors, khaki and a mid-grey color that is lighter than
graphite, but not as light as the light pewter color that we offer in
some of our other men's items. The lining of the khaki pant is navy and
green, while the lining of the grey pant is too dark to tell. These
flannel options are available in sizes 29-40 and may be placed for
pre-sell if you are interested."

I get the impression they are referring to normal chinos with a flannel lining. I was talking about wool chinos. But hopefully they come through with a pair of wool casual trousers.

The flannel lined chino sounds interesting.

Has anyone seen the MacAlister boots in anchor grey? I'm wondering if they're closer to something like the grey Clarks, or if they're sort of dirtier like they seem on the website.

I'm trying to decide between those or the olive, but my store doesn't have the grey.

they're definitely a darker shade of grey, seems like they have a slight hint of brown in them as well

I can't see why anyone would buy the olive ones, they remind me of baby puke

Haven't seen it in the store myself. From the photos it looks decent if a little plain.

As a parent who bought his kids clothes for at least 12 years, I'd never spend J. Crew prices on them. Most kids are much too rough on their clothes and they grow out of them really fast.

+1. When on deep sale they are priced in the same range of Target/Ross/Marshalls.
My niece deserves a nice dress once in awhile.
