Yah, but if the wooden ones you are referring to are anything like the ones from Ikea, I think relative to the wires ones, in the aggregate, they do take up a lot of space since the hangers have a slight curve to them, and you can't pack the clothes tighter together on the rod, albeit, that is not something you want to be doing in the first place, but I guess if you have limited space, not much choice..
Alright, let me repeat: they are not curved, they're flat. They take the same space as the cleaner's wire hangers with the tube thingy for pants. They take a little more space than wire hangers for shirts (w/o the the tube thingy).
I get all my dress shirts laundered, so they stay on the wire hangers they come on. No way I'm wasting my time transferring shirts to wooden hangers. Besides, they look better that I don't disturb them until I'm going to wear them.
Your choice. I used to be like you but now, I like transferring them to the thin wooden hangers. Browsing through the closet for shirts and pants in the morning is just more pleasant. YMMV. I'm not the one who started this thread asking for hanger recommendations btw...
Thanks TR. I hink the hangers gdl has are far superior to anything I can adffor,d.
They cost less than $1
