One odd thing about the spring issue is their use of Photoshop. In an article about the Rolex Explorer they show one photoshopped (and even note under the photo as having done so) on the arm of Steve McQueen in the Great Escape. They then photoshop a new Armani suit on Frank Sinatra from a 60's era photo of him.

Kinda odd, IMO.

The latest issue is absolutely incredible. The publication has exceeded every expectation I had. I loved the bit on Nick Foulkes and Arny's.

Couldn't agree more. I'm very much enjoying dipping in and out of the latest issue as I have the time. The production quality is very high; the photos which accompany the Rubinacci article are particularly pleasing. Did I see a manton name-drop in the Ambrosi piece?

US Suscribers: when did you receive your copy of the August/September Issue?

I've still not received mine, and we're nearing the end of September. Is anyone else in the States still waiting on it?

It is absolutely a great magazine. The photos are nicce. The Rubinacci article is one of the best together with the previous issue on Savile Row. The only complaint is that it is a bi-monthly publication, can't wait for the next issue. Perhaps they would cover French or Japanese tailoring since they have now done English and Italian.

Starting to catch up on interesting posts and topics, as I'm headed back to the USA in a few days after a short stay in Qatar. This magazine looks great-- I ordered issues 2,3,4 but wondered when issue five came out? What is on the cover? I don't see it posted yet on the website for sale, but maybe I can contact them to ask if I know some of the details of the issue.

Thanks!

Issue 5 (September/October 2009) came out earlier this month and features Luca Rubinacci as cover boy.

Actually, LAST has gone down for good ('Esquire' did withdraw from the Japanese market).
