I've probably mentioned it before, but I've always liked the Castle Rock Pinot Noir. It's nothing sensational by any stretch of the imagination, but QPR for a Pinot Noir is excellent and it seems to walk circles around most everything in the sub-$30 Cali pinot list.

My congestion is ending and I get paid tomorrow so trip to the store is in my plans.

I was looking for a good summer drink and figured I'd give Italian limoncello a try, though the only option I could find in Beijing was CRAI's, which I found to only be okay. I'll be heading to the States soon and have access to a number of speciality spirits sellers, anyone have a good limoncello recommendation?

Pierano Estates Cab
Meeker Zin

Both under $15. I haven't had the latter but I have met the Meekers a few times. Great people. Their Blankenheim's Frankenstein is tremendous and I will be drinking my signed bottle on October 31st this year...

As I posted elsewhere, I bought Tullamore Dew 12 the other day. It will be relegated to flasking because it is terrible. If a The Balvenie 21 is a symphony, this whiskey is half a note.

Let me know what you think of the St. Michelle. As you know, I'm a fan of their Riesling (as I know you are as well) and their Cab is decent-- not bad for the price. I'd like to find a cheaper daily SB. Rodney Strong SB is about that same price range, but it's pretty flat IMO.
