Have you tried on a normal-sized Portuguese? It may not wear as large as you imagine.

Also, it's worth noting that the dial design and case shape of the Portuguese really aren't that unique--at least, they weren't originally. Many mid-century watches were styled similarly. It was the size and use of a pocketwatch movement that made the watch special.

Just a heads up, wolfdesigns.com is having a great sale.
http://www.wolfdesigns.com/
Extra 60% off with the code TAKE60OFF.
I just got this 5-watch case for $20. Retail $99, was on sale for $49.99 and with the code went down to $20 w/ free ground shipping.
You can't beat that price for a great quality watch case.

They also have some winder already on sale that can be used with the coupon, if I didn't get a free winder from my AD when I make a purchase, I might have dove in with the deal. They also have lots of jewelry cases as well.

Really? I'd love to take a look at it the next time we're able to get together.
