No personal experience, but seemed like something the Hypebeasts had really latched on to after they got over their Nike SB's.

I'd say they're worth it at FIL prices.

I've the Foley Folk and they're lovely, but I have to admit that at Visvim prices, they're something that I'll be looking after alot more than I would a comparable pair of Nikes or Adidas for example. I'm sure they'll look nice after a bit of wear though.

Designs do not warrant the price, they'd be worth it at 50 off.

I'll say that they're worth it if that's your style. They're nicely made. Sure, the price is a bit ridiculous when compared against classic mens shoes like Alden, C&J, etc - but many of the guys who wear them aren't going to put on a pair of captoes no matter what.

I don't see them as any different from Common Projects. They're also overpriced, but they look great and wear well. So what. Shoes are a fair place to treat and indulge yourself a bit.

These are a big step up from BAPE's and "quickstrike" Nikes which were nothing special and grossly inflated in price.

Foleys will also be resoleable if you send them into FIL which is a nice incentive.

I have a pair of Visvim FBT's that I find very comfortable. Price has gone up quite a bit these past few years however.

I thought I had a couple early pairs of Visvims made in Japan, I'll have to dig those out of my closet... I know for sure my FBT neons are made in Korea.

I think it's worth it. The cottons, and design are deifnitely understated, but some of the best, and as a whole there is nothing like the visvim collection - from footwear to technical outwear, it's very amazing and their brand integrity is beautiful.

As far as a low profile white shoe, I feel like there are better options at the price point. Gilt is having a CP sale on Monday. I've never actually had a pair of CPs, but I had a pair by visvim and I wasn't blown away.
