Yeah there is. We are going to let 4 of our bags go on a pre order basis. It's first come first served and you need to contact Dave on the phone or by email (addie is in my sig). The price is $396.00 with free shipping CONUS and 20 bucks anywhere else. We are shipping these insured for obvious reasons.

We are expecting them on the 25th of this month.

Possibly but don't bet on it. We ordered 8 bags, two are spoken for, 4 are now available for pre order and the other two I'm going to put on the site around Thanksgiving. It's marketing leverage and given how lousy the year has been we want to drive as much traffic as possible for the Christmas season.

One awesome bag. Definitely a lot darker (almost black) than some of the factory tour shots you may have seen.

Sorry, I have very poor photography skills (it doesn't help that the subject of the photo itself is so dark either), but here's a quick preview:

On a second (more thorough) look, you're totally right. I think some combination of all that talk about black vs blue earlier in this thread and the odd lighting in the room hours ago made me think there was some hint of blue in there.

Got mine today, #45 out of 200. My first experience with Filson and this bag is great. The pictures don't show it, but the cotton is almost a little streaky/slubby. Looks great and perfect size.

Does anyone have any info on the Filson/Apolis Activism bag?
