I like the look...but not on him. Pants also rolled up way too high. Rolled up pants and nowhere near water=dumb.

He is carrying a magazine, which he was probably reading a moment before the photo, and a water bottle. Which he was probably drinking from.

Hardly clutter.

Posts like this sadden me. There seem to be odd prescriptive undertones to how many here perceive style.

I wish it was more acceptable to roll up one's pants in the states. It is a very comfortable, breezy way to wear your pants in the summer.

Agreed. In fact, I'm wearing rolled up (and bright red, the humanity!) pants right now.
