This suit I bought off the rack last year, I got it tailored in the shoulders, waist and arms. The fabric is a year-round wool flannel. Here are some pics, my proportions are: 5'11.5 and I am 189 lbs, I am not sure though as my scale is, well broken lol. Suit size: 40, pants are a 34, shirt 16 3/4 I have a video of me with the suit on, where you can see movements, and all sides of my body. I'll post it if anyone wants it.

It's a mess. It looks too wide in the shoulders and too tight in the chest. The sleeves and back look very sloppy.

It is my posture, it did not help and the angle of the camera. I may just post the video, sadly the camera as on its side, thus you'll have to move your head a bit lol.

In terms of how it feels the button hits my stomach and I have a small amount of extra room, I can cup my hands perfectly on the jacket bottom.

This. I'm not sure what to recommend.

I weighed myself again, 189. It is a forum, why bother lying? lol I am 17 years old, I cannot go and get another suit. I do have others, Brioni DB, and some other misc ones. I made a video of the fit http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/1...orvideo032.mp4 Yes I know, it's tilted. added info: Suit size: 40, pants are a 34, shirt 16 3/4

(5'11 x 189 lbs.) > 40R

Do you have narrow shoulders for your size? That's what makes the fit so poor: tight chest, wide shoulders.

do you have a swayback?
it kind of looks like it from the pictures, and would explain a lot of the fit problems.

Yeah, my posture is poor, that was a natural issue, sadly=/

Yeah, I have realllllllllllly skinny arms and legs, but a large stomach with small hips. My thread about my RLPL pants went through this issue.

All I can suggest is to sell it and look for suits in your size with narrower shoulders.

.

Good luck then.

I have a bit of an "s" shape to me, and run into the same problems, i.e. no matter what stuff looks tight in the chest and waist.
