I have to say that I am very impressed with the 2 LRL suits I have that were made in Canada which is why I asked. Very nice materials and the suits are well put together. Even the cotton one I have that was made in China is really nice (all bought from STP). My other suits & coats are from some of the higher end makers and comparatively and they hold up very well against the comp at their price point even despite the fusing.

Surely the stuff in Saks et al. is of a different maker. There is a clear difference in quality between what is in discounters and full lines IMO.

Ah. Not that I'm a huge defender of MK, but Peerless produces the diffusion "MICHAEL Michael Kors" line.

unless there is a separate entity of michael kors but is still called 'Michael Kors'

The Lauren line is owned by RL, Peerless holds a license.

oh i see. now that explains it.

yea, i like Michael kors regular line. glad it is not in that group. it wouldnt make sense as i believe Gibo co spa used to make for michael kors. pretty prestigious manufacturer.

I have a few Michael Michael Kors lightweight sweaters purchased a few years ago, and after several washings coloration has remained bright and wonderful. I often receive more compliments from these relatively inexpensive staples than some of my other pricier pieces.

Does anybody know, who makes the RL Polo Golf stuff, that seems to turn up quite often recently?

I just got a tweed jacket and it says Made in Italy, but it lacks the inside tag.

Any info would be appreciated.

I am waiting on a Polo black and white nailhead that is a Made in the USA older vintage and looks to have alot of the same features that my RLPL Chester Barrie era stuff has, it actually looks like a CB era RLPL suit. Same cut to the pants, same side adjusters and a 2/3 roll jacket with a ticket pocket. Material seems to be the same as my brown nailhead RLPL DB, just a different color. We will see.

I have seen RRL suit made by Caruso, but not sure if it's all made by Caruso. Quality is not up to Caruso made for RLBL for sure though.

Hey, does anybody know which line makes this particular Polo?

From the description, I'm guessing it could possibly be "PRL". But if anyone happens to know where I could purchase it, it'd be even better.
