I was thinking of layering Angel* with Bvlgari Black to pull out the tar notes... any thoughts?

A*Men is one of those I wouldn't layer with anything myself.

I've got to order a sample of that from LuckyScent. That's the third positive review that I've heard recently.

EdP or EdT? I don't think that PdN New York is going to be a winner. The smell is a musky black pepper with a bit too much musk. I stopped off at the Chanel boutique when I was at the mall and tried Cuir de Russie. That's some strong ****! Smells like sweaty balls and whipped cream. Will confirm after workout.

I hope you like it, Rambo. Long lasting as well. Le Labo has 15ml sprays of the stuff for $50.

I know but I don't like investing until I'm sure it's at least decent smelling on me. I've also heard good things about their patchouli, vetiver 46, and oud 37. Trying out Divine L'Homme de Coeur today.

I have seriously considered getting in on the basenotes group buy for Oud 27 (or 37). It's more than I like to spend, but my sample of it was damn good.

today...Guerlain Vetiver. Saw the bottle and thought...hmmm, haven't worn that in a while.

How much is the split going for? I've yet to try it...but it sounds great.

I think it's in the $80 range for 50 ml, which - considering Le Labo's asking price - is a steal. But the hard part is getting all the buyers to stay in the split. Still tempted to get on the list.

The person who is running the split (Zr0e) is a stand up guy. I've bought from him before and it was a problem-free experience.

Today... Santa Maria Novella – Melograno... Smells like an expensive floral soap... So far it's so so in sillage but I get nice wafts as I'm starting to sweat a bit in the office... so far longevity is at least 6+ hours.

Do you want to try it here? I'm game. I completely forgot to smell my arm yesterday so I'm trying the Divine L'homme de coeur again today.
