That is the English version, Chester Barrie. You should see the pants...fishtail, high waist, very full cut with double pleats. Quite a unique suit.

Also raise the middle two a drop and you have a winner (keep the keystone layout).

I'll have to see if RL's minions were aggressive or not when then put the buttons on...taking them off might not even be an option if they fabric is awry under their.

The jacket's cut is instantly recognizable as Ralphie's cut . . . why mess with an established identity?

The color palette (IMHO) could be less conservative to centerpiece showcase that jacket for me. For example,

Definitely remove the top buttons and move the middle ones if you can. Vast improvement.
