I searched this thread, so sorry if this is asked and answered somewhere, but: Is there a "Work Chino" and an "Officer Chino" that are different? Seems like former might be a looser fit and the latter a slimmer fit, but I'm not sure (nowhere nearby to try on). And for both, should I expect them to run 1.5-2" large in the waist?

Thanks.

I have the officer chino, it's slim but not skinny. Not as slim as my Incotex for example. Yes on my 36's , the waist measures a little over 37". Works for me with a belt and room to tuck a shirt in for the office.

It's a great Chino. Give Farinelli's a shout and see if they have your size. They are awesome to work with and ship really fast.

The salesman at RRL Atlanta said they'll be dropping a line of BOOTS for the fall.

He had no idea on price, but said probably between $500-$1000.

For Fall they're going to offer:

In the Low Straight:
Once Washed $230
Blue Hill $280 - Raw base and hand finished to replicate 4-5 months of wear.
Spring Creek $300 - Finished to look like a vintage jean from the 50's, faded from heavy wear.

In the Slim Boot:
Rigid $220 - unwashed with no finishing
Rinse $230 - Oven baked to create a dried in the sun effect
Blue Hill $280
Clear Blue $285 - washed out light blue with abrasions

let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks
Jason

How does the RRL oxford fit compare to the J. Crew secret wash shirt fit?

it tapers much narrower from shoulder-hip, narrower sleeves, higher armholes.

Has anybody been to the Melrose store recently?

The store has a phone number and friendly people who work there.

Word. I've never found numbers for RRL stores on the internets, though. You have to call up a regular RL store and ask for it.

it's 'cause they have very little net presence, and they like it that way.
