You neanderthals didn't know who Snow was? Make no mistake I had absolutely no respect for him as an artist, I just don't like when people die, especially leaving a young daughter behind.

I'm not sure why I should be gentlemanly about the death of a drug addict who leaves a daughter behind. I'm not glad he's dead, but it is most likely true that his daughter is better off without him; that's just a fact. Am I glad he's dead? No. But I don't owe any decorum on the internet to an irresponsible fool who is of zero relevance to me. Sorry.

I doubt many children of deceased people, drug addicts or not would agree. Especially since coming clean is a distinct possibility.

I am quite certain that they would not agree, you are correct. But that does not necessarily make them right.

If my father had been a smack addict and died when I was 2, and I was then raised by my clean grandparents, I am sure I would also long for him and wish he were not dead and harbor some fantasies that he might have gone straight and we could have had a jolly old time together. However, I would also likely not have a full appreciation for the life I might have had bouncing from drug house to drug house or being malnourished or lacking stability, or the fact that I might have turned to a life of abuse and crime myself.

It's not that it's a certainty Mr. Snow's child is better off today, but it is a distinct possibility that she is, regardless of how an adult young Miss Snow might choose to digest her grief and longing.

Edit: Anyways, I have had my sport and jesting with Mr. Snow, and his death is, of course, like any premature one, a tragedy. I would argue that his life was one as well. May he RIP, regardless of my inappropriate jibes and appropriate opprobrium at his demise.
