I might vote for A on a better physique.

I might vote for A if all the **** was not stuffed in the pockets.

The main difference for me is that the wearing of a coat makes A look less formal, while the coat in B makes B look more formal.

A does not flatter A. B flatters B.

I would wear neither garment.

B but only because A looks so sloppy and the fit on the wearer is much better IMO in B.

much prefer the colors and play of patterns in A. i'm not required to be well-pressed most of the time, which seems to be the principal appeal of B. fundamentally, A looks dressed for life and movement; B looks dressed for a photograph.

You were this close to facing a lawsuit for making someone choke. Well-played.

that cifonelli dude is a slimy looking dude. looks really weird in street clothes.

anyway, I know this is a clothing forum and I know we fixate on silly things but honestly, is that one of the dumbest threaks ever?? I mean, we really shouldn't care about this to this degree. Think of your children going back some day and reading this and saying, "really dad, this is what you spent your time arguing about, a phucking suit fit???"

B. looks like a thousand other modern suits that aren't really worth more than a glance. A. is the kind of thing I enjoy seeing on middle-age-and-older men, but would feel like a frump if I had to put it on myself.

He looks like Tom Ford's straight little brother.
Until you are alone with him in the fitting room.

Is it possible that what you "like" doesn't look good on your body? Is there no "horses for courses" option? I probably like A better than B, but am open to the fact that I would look like Quasimodo in A and need B to conceal flaws.

I suspect that the tendency on this board is to fall in love with a style without regard to whether or not it is appropriate for ones' physique.

I like A. More texture, color, and overall just more visually interesting. B looks like he'd put Rohypnol in your girlfriend's drink.

This is exceptionally civil, as these threads go.

I suspect that your kids may be more affected by some of your other posts (ahem...spaghetti...ahem) than whether or not you argued about suit fits.

Coats both too tight and the tie on the left is distractingly absurd.
