I guess Mauro felt bad about having these things as delayed as much as they were and simply wanted to put them out there first-come, first-serve for better or worse. I found out they were going on sale the same time you guys did.

This is a first-run operation and I know having heard all the complaints and suggestions the store will take them into account for the next "versus." It sucks, I was trying to help you guys out with the information I had, and it still got screwed up. I apologize.

dude who, i didnt mean to single you out only ... i know you didnt do it on purpose to mess with people. you are one of the most knowledgeable people on this forum and one of the only few people who keep all these n00bs (including myself) in check. so thanks!

there is a lot of awesome stuff in the works too.

honestly mauro and company ... i like the fact that these were so limited. i believe Mauro even said near the beginning of the thread how he hated people releasing "limited edition" items that there were way too many of or since it was popular, just rereleasing it or making the same exact thing but a little different.

thats lame. i rather it be this small and limited to make it unique and different which is the whole point. maybe a bit more would have been nice, seeing 108 is a little TOO limited but i hope you guys dont go down the wrong path after this first release. there is a beauty to this thing being so small. it is unfortunate that people miss out, but that just makes it all the more worth while when you get it (and adds to the hype!)

I highly doubt I would have bought the jean if it were any larger a run.

I just read everything and I am about to stick my foot in my mouth again.

I really think everyone should listen to my advice. I have been working with denim for about 14years. In this time Kiya was still learning how to"walk the dog" ( yo-yo lingo) and Sam and Ryan were in highschool ( ps- I like these guys and support them). premium denim was still almost unheard of. They came into the games with guns blazing and I was still with the DB when those guys were corning the denim RTW market online. They having sizing charts that people will die over like its the bible or something. So when something new is thrown in the mix people get all crazy.
I have a friendly ( which is true) disposition on line and have made some good friends on the forum.
A lot of the other affiliates don't really talk as open as I do. with that being said " people will be more prone to voice their opinions and not get flamed for it.

Another problem is everyone has the own "look". to stay neutral we will use "teger" for the example. He was a 33 in the picture and looked great in the jean even if they did stretch.
I told him "ben those are great on you" he responded by saying " yah I know but I am going with the 32 because I wear my **** tight". I said ' dude that's not how the jean is suppose to fit" he responded by saying " I don't care that's how I like my **** to fit".
That sums up everything.
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

I hope I made sense. I am not great at getting my point across online ( which is no secret).

I hope you enjoy the jeans.

I have a lot of "versus" in the works. I will make sure to give PLENTY of advance notice and they will all be limited edition. I would like to keep my projects special and I know you all understadn that.
Best,
mauro

And this is EXACTLY why I said early on I would (and did) buy these on faith, because I trust your credentials and direction.

haha it's very true, people should definitely trust mauro on sizing advice. I have in the past and he's never lead me wrong.

also whodini I own 2 pairs of rag & bones and they have not stretched at all in the waist

I dunno, but it does make sense if you think about it. I will say if there is stretching, it is not worth sizing down to account for...

I will also say people seem to hate on cone mill denim fading wise and they are definitely wrong
