the patch is gonna be sick...originally the plan was to emboss the lot number into the leather, but the leather is so damn soft and supple that embossing would cut thru the leather, so the numbers will be literally branded onto the leather patch

let's hope there isnt a need for a "Post your FvsC jean sizes for trade" thread

I'm liking the sound of this branding for extra uniqueness. Sounds spectacular and harsh at the same time, even after the poor cow is gone we brand their asses

I'll certainly be hunting the B&S forums for a size 32.

The patch is nice. Nice work Chad.
Please don't forget tomorrow is the Secret service pinewood derby.

I think if people don't want a tight jean everyone for the most part will be very very happy.

I think Ben sold my pair in store, the ******.

Normally, yes, but he didn't with these.

Guys, I really wouldn't stress over staying true or going down one. It all depends on how you wear your jeans. Get Smart and I were talking earlier about this, some people get the idea that jeans are supposed to be unwearable at the beginning so that down the road they'll be comfortably painted on. That's never been my or GS' M.O since we prefer the jeans to fit a tad snug but not uncomfortable; we don't sag our jeans, usually wear belts, and this system works for us in that we only end up with 1" or so of stretching which is an acceptable range.

The thing to keep in mind is that jeans will stretch according to how much strain you're putting them under; Chad wears his jeans lower than most so the jeans accommodated to how he wears them on his hips. It's like these things will stretch just by looking at them. Again, just because something CAN do something doesn't mean that they WILL.
