okay thnks for the pointers

hehe yeah

Cool, welcome to the forum, I suggest staying away from the luxury brands as a college student, you can certainly look good on a budget if you're reasonably proportioned and know where to shop, try to look at the lower end stuff as you will still be able to have some variety within your budget, brands like H&M, American Apparel, Gap, Uniqlo, J.crew. Fit is the most important thing in the world, once you've got that you can start thinking about the colours and styles that you like and that work for you. Don't be afraid to talk to a tailor and get things taken in (which I'm sure you will do as you seem as skinny as me).

Your shirts make you look like you have a gut.

Just a few general tips: 1. Either roll your sleeves up or down. IMO rolling the sleeve once looks like ****. 2. Hem your pants and your shirt sleeve, they are too long (don't worry if you're on a college budget, these are both pretty cheap alterations) 3. Get new shoes and belt, in brown. The black clashes with your pants. 4. Look into new black shoes (though not for this outfit). I can't make out the detail, but the ones you have on look pretty damn inelegant I don't usually comment on WAYWT, since I don't really give two ***** what others wear, but since you asked for advice, that is what immediately comes to my mind. Hope that at least gets you headed in the right direction.

And the belt buckle is ridiculously pretentious.

Agreed.

FWIW, if you want to wear a gaudy belt buckle that's your prerogative, (though I don't think your belt is doing you any favors), but I would suggest saving the AX belt for more casual fits with something like jeans or chinos. IIRC, this was for a wedding or something right? If that's the case, I think the logo buckle is way too casual. Next time wear a belt with a dressier buckle.

As much as I don't like the idea of peremptory, cut-and-dried style dictates... yeah, this pretty much is.
