I thought I would give you a peek at our Post O'All's selections for FW 09. The pictures aren't great but you can get an idea of what we got. The first pic is Mattalini 2 and we bought it in Navy Dongal Tweed $495.00. The second pic is Sweetbear and we bought it in Grey Donegal Tweed $495.00. The third pic is Cruzer and we bought in Forest Green Wool Melton $445.00.
I have already begun to get requests for pre-orders and I will take them only with a non-refundable deposit of 30%. In the past I have only taken your credit card # and not processed it until the goods have arrived but at this time we have to work this way.
I hope you like what we selected and should this become a popular brand for us we will go back for more.

These look great, thanks for sharing pictures!

I was looking at this stuff on a few different japanese sites and the measurements look like they're on the short side - can anyone confirm?

I bought a shirt from them a few years back, and I can say that for the shirt the arms were kind of short. I'm not a particularly long-armed person, but I had to be careful not to shrink my shirt (it was unwashed when I got it- it literally looked like a tablecloth, but once washed it shrank to normal proportions). I can't say if this is the case for the jackets.

Love their stuff though.

^ Yeah, I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I've been shopping around for one of their cruzer or traveler vests.

Jackets look sweet. I'm hoping they will come out /w a lined jacket this year. Need it for the Canadian winters.

I was with Gary when we met the designer, and the man is an original. The clothes have a very focussed point of view, and are nearly obsessively time period correct. They are meant to be worn layered. The fit is more like traditional Carhartt workwear. That is, the body is bigger, and the arms, a little shorter, because the arm holes are meant to sit a little further from the body than slim cut clothes. Gary doesn't have pics, and didn't buy them, but the yellow and red wool jackets are remarkable, if only for the ability to source fabric with colors that look so much like that in the original fabric, rather than a modernized version of it.

Ah, that's fantastic. I've been following Katsu from afar, and what little I know has really impressed me. I would have loved to meet him and check out his shop. He seems totally obsessive, and I would definitely own much more of his stuff if I had anything like a clothing budget nowadays.

Post O'Alls is one of my favorite brands. I always wished I could get it in the US and now that I can I realize I will not ever be able to afford it

Somewhere it was mentioned that Steven Alan had carried Post O'Alls in the past and I recall seeing the vest on a mannequin on their website.

Thought I read on Superfuture that someone had luck contacting Post O Alls directly? Maybe I'm confusing things.

I've had good responses from Lewis at superdenim.co.uk, although I don't know if he can special order.
