I don't have a Stowa, but I have a CW C5 and it's been a great watch so far. Also, it's very easy to talk to customer service at CW, which is an added benefit. Great company.

Here is a watch I had built to my specs by a watch maker out of Japan. He is the ghost of watch making in that he is a legend in cyberworld, and hard to get in contact with and get a response. It took me 5 months, and several emails to get him to respond and to build this watch. While many will say it's a clone or fake, it is not. I am not passing it off as a PAM. In fact, I only became aware of the Paneria brand about a few weeks ago. All parts are geniune parts.

Heard,

you may not be passing it off as a Panerai, but I doubt if the maker shares your opinion.

Interesting GMT.
What's the history behind it?
I don't think I've ever seen that bezel on a plain dial GMT.

I was just curious about the bezel.
For the two-tones of that era, I've only seen the root beer bezel and all black.

Well...excuse me, but this is what I have understood what is referred to as the "root beer" bezel. Or do you mean the all-brown with golden numerals?

Anyway, today's watch;
