RL jacket I picked up a while back. Unsure of the fit (nb ignore sleeves - have yet to be tailored).

Is there a, for lack of better description, 'yes/no' thread on the forum?

No with all 3 buttons closed and No with 2 buttons closed. Try again with only the middle one closed.

ha. I'd never wear with three buttons closed, it's just to give an idea of the fit (which I'm unsure about)

Oh, and I also got a solid navy Black Fleece suit too.

I love the coat holdfast, beautiful pattern.. What is the fabric? Almost looks like there's some linen in there..

....and the items yet to be altered/ tailored:

BB Black Fleece chalk stripe suit, pretty heavy cloth and like it much more than expected.

Isaia blue birdseye suit

Kiton sportcoat (all need a tailor's work, but this one especially)

Thanks! You know, that's what I figured too, when I saw it from a distance but actually it's 100% wool. I think the thing is that it's quite "tightly spun" yarn (for want of a better word), and the weave is a bit more open. I'm sure those are the wrong technical terms but whatever, it gives an illusion of there being linen there.

Foxx - nice Kiton, and great C&J suedes.

For me - besides the Blue Lobbs (hopefully to arrive this week), just a few pocket squares from Jamison. Trying hard not to spend any more this month.

Foxx - the narrower lapels of the BF don't suit you as well as the wider ones of the other coats.

Just a thought.

thanks-- it is the birdseye Isaia from Sierra Trading Post, i think they still have more. It's double vented, FF trousers, a nice light/ medium weight wool.

I agree, the narrow lapels suit was more for fun/ going out, but have to admit it seems like it will look pretty good once tailored. again, like it much more than expected.

Aquascutum nick hart blazer
2 brooks brothers shirts in gingham
1 pringle lambs wool jumpers
1 pringle merino wool cardigan
pringle skinny grey trousers
churchs grey brogues.
The brogues are kind of strange. Instead of saying NY, london, Milan, paris on the insolde it is just NY London. The soles are also bevelled and have a painted black sole. They are also more elegant then what you would expect from churchs.
